Analysis of Vaginal and Abdominal Ultrasonographic Findings in Ectopic Pregnancy and Gestational Luteal Cysts
Objective:To analyze vaginal and abdominal ultrasound findings in ectopic pregnancy and gestational luteal cyst.Methods:64 patients with ectopic pregnancy and 36 patients with gestational luteal cyst admitted to the hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were selected for the study, and all patients underwent vaginal and abdominal ultrasonography. The ultrasonographic findings of patients with ectopic pregnancy and gestational luteal cyst were compared. Results:The RI values and percentage of hyperechoicity were higher in patients in the ectopic pregnancy group than in patients in the gestational luteal cyst group, and the percentage of hypoechoicity was lower than that in patients with gestational luteal cysts. The difference was statistically significant(t=32.149;χ2=24.757,P<0.05).The incidence of very low resistance was higher in patients in the ectopic pregnancy group than the gestational luteal cyst group, the incidence of low and high resistance was lower than in patients in the gestational luteal cyst group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=18.688,4.383,5.563,P<0.05).The percentage of punctate and striated blood flow was higher in patients in the ectopic pregnancy group than the gestational luteal cyst group, the percentage of circumferential and semi-circumferential blood flow was lower than in patients in the gestational luteal cyst group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=16.744,18.077,5.806,45.370,P<0.05).Conclusion:Transvaginal and abdominal ultrasonography can identify ectopic pregnancy and gestational corpus luteum cysts by differences in blood flow indices, echogenicity, blood flow distribution, and spectral patterns of blood flow,in order to make timely differential diagnosis and provide targeted treatment.
