Effect of Home Rehabilitation Training on Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy Based on the Knowledge Genera-tion-Application Positive Transformation Model
Objective:To investigate the effects of home-based rehabilitation training based on the positive transformation model of knowledge generation-application on children with spastic cerebral palsy.Methods:50 cases of children with spastic cerebral palsy who were given rehabilitation training guidance and other interventions in the hospital from March 2020 to December 2020 were selected to be included in the control group, and 50 cases of children with spastic cerebral palsy who were given home-based rehabilitation training based on the positive transformation model of knowledge generation-application in the hospital from January 2021 to August 2021 were selected to be included in the observation group. The functional independence(Children's Functional Independence Inventory[WeeFIM]),quality of life(Pediatric Survival Quality Measurement Scale[PedsQL 4.0]),motor function(Gross Motor Function Test Scale[GM-FM],Fine Motor Function Test Scale[FMFM]),and developmental status(Geisel Gross Motor Scale[GDS])were compared between the two groups of children before the intervention and after 3 months of the interven-tion.Results:After the intervention, the scores of functional independence, quality of life, motor function, and developmental status of the children in both groups increased, and the scores of the children in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(t=11.351,11.871,13.408;t=12.269,13.744,21.203,16.908;t=17.059,13.029;t= 13.303,12.890,P<0.05).Conclusion:Home-based rehabilitation training based on the positive transformation model of knowledge generation-application can help children with spastic cerebral palsy to increase functional independence, strengthen motor function, improve development, and enhance quality of life.
