Effect of Self-management-oriented 5A Model of Care on Self-efficacy Scale Scores of Total Hip Arthroplasty Patients
Objective:To investigate the effect of a self-management-oriented 5A nursing model intervention on the self-effica-cy scale(GSES)scores of patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty, and to provide a basis for clinical care.Methods:92 cases of total hip arthroplasty patients admitted to the hospital from October 2018 to October 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and the 92 patients were divided into 46 cases in the observation group and 46 cases in the routine group by the random number table method. The conventional group was intervened with the conventional self-management education model, and the observation group was intervened with the self-management-oriented 5A nursing model based on the conventional group. The self-efficacy[self-effi-cacy evaluation scale(GSES)score],health status[self-reported health assessment scale(SRHMS)score],and quality of life[comprehensive quality of life questionnaire(GQOL-74)score]of the patients in the two groups were compared. Results:After the intervention, the GSES score of the observation group was higher than that of the conventional group, and the difference was sta-tistically significant(t=10.314,P<0.05).After the intervention, the SRHMS score of the observation group was higher than that of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.098,P<0.05).After the intervention, the GQOL-74 score of the observation group was higher than that of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(t= 4.641,P<0.05).Conclusion:A self-management-oriented 5A nursing model intervention can effectively improve GSES scores, improve health status, and improve the quality of life of patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty.
