Exploration of Risk Factors for Intrauterine Growth Retardation and Countermeasures Analysis
Objective:To summarize the risk factors for intrauterine growth retardation(IUGR)and to discuss measures for its prevention and treatment.Methods:109 deliveries in hospital from January 2021 to April 2022 were selected for the study, and a retrospective study was conducted. The prevalence of IUGR among women of different ages(low, normal childbearing, high)and different BMI(thin, normal, fat)was counted.Mothers were divided into case group(55 cases)and control group(54 cases)according to whether IUGR occurred in the newborn.Clinical data(including maternal physiological factors, mental factors, living habits, medication use, pregnancy complications, uteroplacental hemodynamics and lipid metabolism function, etc.)and fetal related indexes(including anabolic dysfunction, placenta, umbilical cord, etc.)were collected from the two groups. The risk factors leading to IUGR were summarized by univariate and logistic multifactorial regression analysis, and the corresponding measures for the prevention and treatment of IUGR were proposed in conjunction with the results of the analysis. Results:Low age,low body weight, comorbidities such as hypertension or diabetes mellitus during pregnancy(abnormal lipid metabolism),low utero-placental blood flow, intrauterine fetal infections, high levels of radiation exposure and abnormalities of the placenta(placental microthrombosis)and umbilical cord structure were all risk factors for the development of IUGR(OR=2.232,2.614,1.125,2.528,2.049,3.163,0.314,3.662,3.214,0.398;P<0.05).Conclusion:There are more risk factors that can lead to the occurrence of IUGR,and it is of positive significance to do the appropriate maternal intervention and care before delivery from the perspective of various risk factors to prevent and treat IUGR.
