Clinical Value of Color Ultrasound Combined with E Sonography in Identifying Benign and Malignant Breast Masses
Objective:To investigate the value of color ultrasound combined with ultrasound E imaging in identifying benign and malignant breast masses. Methods:Clinical data and ultrasound images of 138 patients with breast tumors admitted to the hospital from August 2019 to February 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent color ultrasound and ultrasound E imaging, and the diagnosis was confirmed by surgical pathology. The efficacy of color ultrasonography and color ultrasonography combined with ultrasound E imaging in identifying benign and malignant in patients was compared. Results:Pathological tests showed that 146 tumors were detected in 138 patients with breast tumors,of which 126(86.30%)were benign and 20(13.70%)were malignant. As diagnosed by ultrasound,of the 146 tumors,104(71.23%)were benign and 42(28.77%)were malignant, and the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy in identifying benign and malignant were 76.98%,65.00%,93.27%,30.95%,and 75.34%,respectively.Of the 146 tumors diagnosed by color ultrasound combined with ultrasound E imaging,123(84.25%)were benign and 23(15.75%)were malignant, with a sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of 91.27%,60.00%,93.50%,52.17%,and 86.99%,respectively.The sensitivity and accuracy of color ultrasound combined with ultrasound E imaging for differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumors were higher than that of color ultrasound examination, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=9.628,6.474;P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of the two methods for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumors(x2=0.107,0.005,2.828;P>0.05).Conclusion:Color ultrasound combined with E imaging has high efficacy in the diagnosis of tumor benignity and malignancy in patients with breast tumors, and the combination of the two has a certain complementary role, which can determine the patient's condition in a timely manner.
