Analysis of Foodborne Disease Surveillance Results in Ningde City from 2018 to 2020
Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of foodborne diseases in Ningde,and to provide a scientific and effective basis for the development of foodborne disease prevention and control policies in the city.Methods:Data on the results of foodborne disease surveillance in Ningde City from 2018 to 2020 were collected and organized,and analyzed and discussed using descriptive epidemiological methods.Results:A total of 9,706 patients with foodborne diseases were reported in Ningde in 2018-2020,with a male to female ratio of 0.94:1,the highest number of patients in the age group of 25~34 years old(accounting for 18.39%),and the peak incidence of the disease in the month of December(accounting for 20.10%).Patients were mainly farmers(accounting for 34.30%),clinical symptoms were mainly digestive symptoms(accounting for 98.19%),the types of exposed food were mainly aquatic animals and their products(accounting for 31.08%),and the place with the most foodborne disease exposure in Ningde from 2018 to 2020 was the home(accounting for 63.48%).Conclusion:According to the prevalence of foodborne diseases in Ningde,a variety of information technology channels are fully utilized and combined with on-site publicity work to carry out on-line and off-line health publicity to further strengthen the publicity of knowledge about foodborne diseases and health education work,to enhance the residents'awareness of food safety,and to prevent and reduce the occurrence of foodborne diseases.
