Effect of CDIO Teaching Model on the Training Assessment Performance and Professional Identity of Newly Recruited Nurses in the Operating Room
Objective:To investigate the extent to which a conceptualization-design-implementation-operation(CDIO)-based instructional model influences the training assessment performance and professional identity of new nurses in the operating room.Methods:54 nurses newly recruited in the operating room of the hospital from October 2019 to February 2022 were selected as the study subjects and were randomly divided into the conventional group and the study group, with 27 nurses in each group. The conventional group was given conventional teaching mode for standardized job training, and the research group was given CDIO teaching mode. The training assessment scores and the sense of professional identity of nurses in the two groups were compared(theoretical scores and operational scores). Results:After training, compared with the theory scores of the conventional group, the theory scores of the research group were on the high side, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.685,P<0.05).After training, compared with the theory scores of the conventional group, the operational assessment scores of the research group were high, and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.987,P<0.05).After the training, compared with the total professional iden-tity score of new nurses in the routine group, the total professional identity score of the study group was high, and the difference was statistically significant(t=11.499,P<0.05).Conclusion:CDIO teaching mode is conducive to improving the theoretical knowledge of new nurses in the operating room, the level of operation, but also to enhance their ability to analyze and solve problems, based on the conception-design-implementation-operation of the teaching mode, the new nurses in the operating room of the sense of identi-ty of the profession to play a very positive impact, the teaching mode can be for the follow-up of the new entry into the training of the operating room nurses to provide the theoretical basis for the style.
