Effects of Group Empowerment Education Model Intervention on Quality of Life and Psychological State of Outpatient Psoriasis Vulgaris
Objective:To explore the application effect of the cluster empowerment education model intervention on the quality of life and psychological status of outpatient patients with unusual psoriasis,and to provide a basis for clinical treatment and care.Methods:98 cases of patients with psoriasis of common type who visited the hospital from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the study subjects by simple random sampling method,and they were divided into the intervention group and the control group according to the order of the time of visiting the hospital,with 49 cases in each group.The control group used conventional nursing intervention,and the intervention group implemented the cluster empowerment education model intervention.Quality of life(Dermatologic Quality of Life Index[DLQI]score),health status(Short Form of Health Survey[SF-36]score),and psychological status(Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale[HADS]score)before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups.Results:After the intervention,the DLQI scores of patients in both groups were significantly lower than before the intervention,and the intervention group was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.493;P<0.05).After the intervention,the SF-36 scores of general health status,social functioning,mental health,and health change dimensions of the patients in the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=-2.071,-5.058,-2.097,-2.879;P<0.05).After the intervention,the scores of anxiety and depression dimensions in the HADS of the patients in the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.399,2.509;P<0.05).Conclusion:The cluster empowerment education model intervention was able to significantly improve the quality of life and health status of outpatients with common psoriasis and reduce their anxiety and depression levels.
