Vascular cognitiveimpairment(VCI)is a central intersection of cognitive impairment,dementia,and cerebrovascular problems in recent years,which has seriously threatened the health and quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people,and the complete description and unified diagnostic criteria for VCI are still inadequate.The article provides an overview of the concepts,grading,causative factors,diagnosis and treatment,detection instruments and therapeutic treatments that have been continuously updated during the study of VCI,with the aim of providing a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular cognitive impairment in China.
