Application of Case-based Teaching Method in the Teaching of Undergraduate Students Majoring in Clinical Medicine in Reproductive Medicine Center
Objective:To explore the application effect of case-based teaching method(CBL)in the teaching of clinical medicine interns in Reproductive Medicine Center.Methods:65 interns majoring in Clinical Medicine who practiced in Reproductive Medicine Center of the college from February 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into control group(n=32)and research group(n=33).The traditional teaching method was used in the control group,and the CBL teaching method was used in the research group.The theoretical assessment results,skill assessment results,students'self-assessment results(thinking ability,self-study ability,communication ability,learning interest and teamwork ability)and teaching satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:The theoretical test scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group(t=3.529,P<0.05).The skill test scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group(t=5.353,P<0.05).The scores of thinking ability,self-learning ability,communication ability,learning interest and teamwork ability of the study group were higher than those of the control group(t=6.126,4.612,8.495,7.344,11.813;P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the study group was 93.94%,which was higher than that of the control group(71.88%)(χ2=5.626,P<0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of CBL teaching method in the teaching of clinical medicine practice interns in reproductive medicine center is remarkable.It can not only improve the students'theory and skill examination results,but also improve the student'thinking ability,self-study ability,communication ability,learning interest and team cooperation ability,and most students are also satisfied with this method.
