Effect of Perioperative Clinical Care Pathway on Clinical Outcomes of Patients Undergoing Orbital Tumor Resection
Objective:To investigate the effects of perioperative clinical care pathways applied to the care of patients undergoing orbital tumor resection on patient complications, rehabilitation outcomes, and postoperative quality of life.Methods:106 patients with orbital tumor resection admitted to the hospital from September 2018 to December 2020 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into the reference group and the study group using the random number table method, with 53 cases in each group. The reference group carried out routine nursing care, and the study group implemented perioperative clinical nursing pathway intervention on the basis of the reference group. The complication rate, rehabilitation effect and quality of life of patients in the two groups were observed and compared. Results:After the implementation of perioperative clinical care pathway intervention, the complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.711,P<0.05).The rehabilitation effect of the study group was better than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=9.608,5.234,13.491;P<0.05).The quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.352,P<0.05).Conclusion:Perioperative clinical care pathway significantly reduces complications, enhances recovery and improves quality of life in patients undergoing orbital tumor resection.
