Observation on the Curative Effect of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention Combined with Brain Reflex Therapy on the Negative Symptoms of Chronic Schizophrenia in the Elderly Patients
Objective:To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention combined with cerebral reflexology on elderly patients with negative symptoms of chronic schizophrenia,and to provide a basis for clinical care.Methods:89 cases of chronic schizophrenia patients with predominantly negative symptoms in the female ward of the geriatric psychiatry department admitted to the hospital from April 2019 to August 2021 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into 42 cases in the control group and 47 cases in the observation group according to the different treatment protocols.The control group was treated with conventional nursing combined with brain reflexology,and the observation group implemented comprehensive nursing combined with brain reflexology.The negative symptoms,therapeutic effects,and psychological state[Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)scores]of the patients in the two groups were compared.Results:After the intervention,patients in the observation group had significantly lower scores on all dimensions of negative symptoms than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.616,2.964,3.512,2.818,4.936;P＜0.05).The total effective rate of treatment for patients in the observation group was 91.48%,which was significantly higher than the 76.19%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.916,P＜0.05).After the intervention,the HAMA and HAMD scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.454,7.412;P＜0.05).Conclusion:Comprehensive nursing intervention combined with cerebral reflexology has good clinical therapeutic effects on elderly patients with chronic schizophrenia with negative symptoms,which can improve the negative symptoms of elderly patients with chronic schizophrenia,reduce the negative emotions of the patients,and promote the recovery of their diseases.
