Bioinformatics Analysis of the Extracellular Vesicle Complex 2 Protein of the Cestode Echinococcus Granulosus
Objective:To predict the biochemical properties, antigenic epitopes, and molecular functions of the extracellular vesicle complex 2(EXOC2)protein of the fine-grained echinococcus tapeworm,Echinococcus granulosus and bioinformatics methods, etc. Methods:The physicochemical properties, tertiary structure,hydrophilicity,B-cell dominant antigenic epitopes,T-cell dominant epitopes, protein interactions, differential gene GO function and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis, phosphorylation sites, and protein modification sites of EXOC2 proteins were predicted by using the Protein Analytics Online website as well as an online database. Results:The dominant B-cell epitopes were located at 100-115,539-540,851-866,896-911,988-992,704-749,the HLA-DRB1*0401-restricted Th epitopes were located at 821-823,920-930,and the HLA-DRB1*0701-restricted Th epitopes were located at 270-275,920-922 compartments. Conclusion:The biological functions and dominant T and B cell antigenic epitopes of the EXOC2 protein were predicted using online databases and bioinformatics methods, which may provide some theoretical basis for the development of molecular peptide vaccines against echinococcosis.
