Clinical Efficacy Observation of Yang Puncture + Miu Puncture Combined with Hanging up Moxibustion in the Treatment of Lateral Epicondylitis of Humerus
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Yang puncture + Miu puncture combined with hanging up moxibustion in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis of the humerus,to provide reference basis for clinical traditional Chinese medicine treatment.Methods:63 cases of patients with lateral epicondylitis of humerus admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and were randomly divided into 32 cases of the experimental group and 31 cases of the control group. The experimental group was treated with Yang prick + Miu prick combined with hanging up moxibustion, and the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture, and the patients in both groups were treated once a day,and 12 times were 1 course of treatment. After treatment, the total clinical effectiveness rate and pain visual analog score(VAS)of the two groups were compared. Results:After 2 courses of treatment, the total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(Z=-1.658,P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups(t=2.526,P>0.05).After treatment, the VAS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.846,P<0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of Yang puncture + Miu puncture combined with hanging up moxibustion needling for the treatment of humeral epicondylitis is significantly better than that of conventional needling treatment, with outstanding clinical efficacy, which can effectively relieve or even eliminate the patient's elbow joint pain, with good safety and small side effects, which is easy to be accepted by the patients and easy to be applied. This provides a new idea for the clinical traditional treatment of humeral epicondylitis in Chinese medicine.
