Value of BI-RADS Grading Combined with Ultrasonic Elastography in the Diagnosis of Breast Cancer
Objective:To explore the value of BI-RADS grading and ultrasound elastography(UE)in the diagnosis of breast cancer. Methods:A total of 126 patients with suspected breast cancer who were examined in the hospital from January,2019 to January,2022 were selected, and BI-RADS grading and UE technology were used. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of the combined use of the two examination methods were judged with surgery and pathology as the gold standard. Results:Among 126 patients,78 were breast hyperplasia and 48 were malignant tumors. In comparision of breast hyperplasia group,BI-RADS grade and UE score in breast cancer group were higher(t=7.641,10.618;P<0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy of the combined examination were 95.83%,98.72%,97.87%,97.47%and 97.62%respectively.The BI-RADS examination was 79.17%,89.74%,82.61%,87.50%and 85.71%respectively.The UE examination was 77.08%,88.46%,80.43%,86.25%and 84.13%respectively.The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy of the combined examination were higher than the BI-RADS grading and UE examination, with statistically significant difference(χ2=7.554,6.861,7.474,6.896,14.171;P<0.05).Conclusion BI-RADS grading combined with UE has a high diagnostic value in the examination of breast cancer, which can effectively improve the disease detection rate and diagnostic efficiency.
