Study on the Impact of the New Regulation on Blood Donation in Guangzhou on the Behavior of Non-Reimbursable Blood Donation
Objective:To explore the impact of the new Guangzhou blood donation regulations on the behavior of non-remunerated blood donation,and to provide a scientific basis for blood donation recruitment and publicity of the new regulations.Methods:A stratified sampling method was used to select 3 300 non-remunerated blood donors as survey respondents at 11 fixed blood donation sites in Guangzhou City for the questionnaire survey.The questionnaire results were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 for covariance data analysis,Spearman's correlation data analysis,and moderated effect hierarchical regression data analysis were conducted.Results:Age,income,number of blood donations,honor of donating blood,and social connectedness were all associated with blood donation plans for the coming year(P<0.05).The difference in psychological well-being index between the groups of number of blood donations was statistically significant(F=4.962,P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between the four variables:number of blood donations,economic motivation,fulfillment motivation,and happiness index(P<0.05).Realization motivation in the new blood donation policy moderated between the number of blood donations and happiness index(△R2=0.256,△F=15.462,P<0.05).Conclusion:Guangzhou blood collection and supply institutions should develop recruitment measures for the realization-based motivation in the new regulation to efficiently guide blood donation behavior.
