Influence of Nursing Intervention Based on Trans-theoretical Model on Functional Rehabilitation of Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis Treated by Arthroscopy
Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of trans-theoretical modeling(TTM)-based nursing interventions in arthroscopic treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA)and to provide a basis for clinical care.Methods:100 KOA patients admitted to the hospital from August 2019 to August 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into 40 cases in the control group and 60 cases in the observation group with the random number table method. The control group used conventional nursing intervention, and the observation group implemented TTM-based nursing intervention on the basis of conventional nursing.Pain level[Visual Analog Scale(VAS)score],functional rehabilitation[Osteoarthritis Index Rating Scale(WOMAC)score],quality of life[Short Form of Health Survey(SF-36)],complications and satisfaction with care were compared between the two groups. Results:After the intervention, the pain level of patients in the observation group was significantly lighter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(Z=4.851,P<0.05).After intervention, patients in the observation group had lower WOMAC scores and higher SF-36 scores than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(t=11.966,23.033;P<0.05).The complication rate of patients in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=1.641,P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.671,P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing TTM-based nursing interventions for KOA patients can reduce the level of arthroscopic treatment pain, promote functional rehabilitation of the knee, improve patients'quality of life and nursing satisfaction, and reduce the incidence of complications.
