Effect of the Leave-behind Management Method on the Incidence of Intraoperative Pressure Ulcers in Patients with High-risk Pressure Ulcers
Objective:To investigate the effect of the leave-behind management method on the incidence of intraoperative pressure ulcers in patients with high-risk pressure ulcers.Methods:88 cases of high-risk pressure ulcer patients admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group used conventional pressure ulcer preventive nursing management, and the experimental group used the intervention of trace management method.Post-management patient recognition, pressure ulcer condition, and complication occurrence were compared between the two groups. Results:After management, all the recognition scores of patients in both groups increased, and the experimental group was higher. The difference was statistically significant(t=6.064,6.560,8.618;P<0.05).The incidence of pressure ulcers in the test group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.768,P<0.05).The complication rate of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.436,P<0.05).Conclusion:The retention management method applied to patients with high-risk pressure ulcers reduces the incidence of intraoperative pressure ulcers, improves recognition, and reduces complication rates.
