Analysis of the Status and Influencing Factors of Family Care Needs of Lung Cancer Patients
Objective:To investigate and analyze the current situation and influencing factors of family care needs of patients with lung cancer to provide reference for targeted nursing intervention.Methods:180 family members of lung cancer patients who were admitted to the hospital from March 2021 to December 2022 were investigated by general data questionnaire and Family Needs scale of critically ill patients(CCFNI),and the influencing factors of family care needs of lung cancer patients were analyzed.Results:The scores of care needs in each dimension of family members were:support dimension(41.07±4.17),patient need dimension(33.21±3.51),access to information dimension(30.15±5.32),disease assurance dimension(25.18±4.43),and comfort dimension(19.66±4.36).The total score was(149.27±21.79).There were significant differences in scores of gender,education level,marital status,family income,medical payment method,duration of care and previous care experience(P<0.05).The results of Spearman correlation analysis showed that the support dimension,the need dimension of close relationship with patients,the information acquisition,the condition assurance dimension and the self-comfort dimension were positively correlated with the nursing needs,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Education level,family income,medical payment method,previous care experience were correlated with care demand score(P<0.05).Conclusion:The family members of patients with lung cancer have a high demand for nursing care.The main factors influencing the demand are education level,family income,medical payment mode and previous nursing experience.
