Effects of Nursing Intervention Guided by Stress System Theory on Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and Quality of Life in Severely Burned Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of nursing intervention guided by stress system theory in severe burn patients. Methods 84 patients with severe burns admitted to the hospital were randomly divided into two groups, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given nursing intervention based on stress system theory.Post-traumatic stress disorder, psychological status, quality of life and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The recurrent experience score, increased alertness score, avoidance symptom score, impaired social function score, subjective evaluation score of observation group were lower than before nursing and control group, with statistically significant difference(t=7.904,8.546,9.793,8.020,9.233;P<0.05).Self-rating anxiety scale(SDS)score, and self-rating depression scale(SDS)score in the post-care observation group were lower than before nursing and control group, with statistically significant difference(t=5.508,5.105;P<0.05).The emotional function score, social function score, life vitality score, mental health score, mental health score, physical function score, physical function score, and physical pain score in the post-nursing observation group were higher than before nursing and control group, with statistically significant difference(t=5.499,6.491,4.175,7.316,4.954,4.625,5.655,5.614;P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.550,P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on stress system theory can reduce the post-traumatic stress disorder of severe burn patients, improve their psychological state and quality of life, and promote higher nursing satisfaction.
