Study of Perioperative Holistic Care and Standardized Pain Intervention in Patients Undergoing Total Knee Arthro-plasty
Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of perioperative holistic care and standardized pain intervention in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty(TKA).Methods:88 patients who underwent TKA in the hospital from March 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the study subjects and were divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group(44 cases)implemented conventional care, and the observation group(44 cases)implemented perioperative holistic care and standardized pain intervention, and both groups were followed up for 3 months. The knee joint function, mobility, pain, complication occurrence and quality of life of patients in the two groups were compared. Results:After care, the observation group had higher knee function scores and greater mobility compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.526,2.567;P<0.05).After care, the observation group had lower pain scores compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=19.777,P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.062,P<0.05).After care, the observation group had higher scores in all dimensions of quality of life compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t= 3.136,3.727,3.494,3.618;P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of perioperative holistic care and standardized pain intervention for patients undergoing TKA can improve their knee function and mobility, reduce the degree of pain, decrease the occurrence of complications, and promote the quality of life.
