Surgical Treatment Strategies of Bone Metastasis of Urinary Tumor
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of surgical treatment of bone metastasis of urinary tumor. Methods:The clinical data of 20 patients with bone metastasis of urinary tumors treated in the Department of Urology and Orthopaedics of General Hospital of the Western Theater Command PLA from July 2015 to August 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into observation group(n=10)and control group(n=10).The control group refused surgical treatment and received symptomatic treatment such as analgesia, while the observation group reduced the use of analgesics and surgical treatment. All patients were followed up for 12 months, and the VAS scores of pain in the first week and the last follow-up were compared between the two groups. Results:The pain score of the observation group 7 days aftre treatment and the last visit was lower than that of the control group with statistically sigificant difference(t=-5.018,-6.488;P<0.05).After orthopedic surgery, the patients with bone metastasis of urinary tumor can effectively relieve bone pain and improve their quality of life. Conclusion:The diagnosis of bone metastasis of urinary tumor needs to synthesize the results of clinical, pathology, examination and immunohistochemistry.Active surgical treatment of bone metastasis of urinary system can not only control the progression of metastatic tumor and reconstruct bone function, but also relieve pain obviously, prolong the life span of patients and improve the quality of life.
