Value and Accuracy of Low-dose Spiral CT Virtual Endoscopy in the Diagnosis of Early Colorectal Cancer
Objective:To analyze the screening value and accuracy of low-dose spiral CT virtual endoscopy in the diagnosis of early colorectal cancer.Methods:160 suspected colorectal cancer patients in the hospital from May 2020 to October 2021 were included in the study. All patients were examined with conventional CT and low-dose spiral CT virtual endoscopy, with pathological examination results as the gold standard. The accuracy of conventional CT and low-dose spiral CT virtual endoscopy was compared and analyzed.Results:120 selected cases were diagnosed as malignant colorectal cancer by pathological examination. The other 40 cases were benign colorectal tumors.Specificity, sensitivity, benign predictive value, malignant predictive value of low-dose spiral CT virtual endoscopy were significantly higher than those of conventional CT(x2=17.954,9.842,9.830,17.245,19.472;P<0.05).DLP and CTDlw of low-dose spiral CT virtual endoscopy were significantly lower than those of conventional CT(t=385.143,127.114;P<0.05).Conclusion:Low-dose of spiral CT virtual endoscopy can accurately diagnose and screen early colorectal cancer. It can obtain higher diagnostic sensitivity, accuracy and specificity than CT,and has very important diagnostic value.
