Social Distancing Level and Influencing Factors of Elderly Patients Living Alone with Aortic Dissection in Nanyang Area
Objective:To investigate the status and influencing factors of social alienation in elderly patients living alone with aortic dissection in Nanyang Area.Methods:126 patients with aortic dissection who received endovascular repair in the hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected as subjects by convenience sampling method.General data questionnaire,General Alienation Scale,Social Impact Scale and Social Support Rating Scale were used.Results:The total score of social alienation was(47.46±4.72)in middle-aged and elderly patients living alone after aortic dissection,which was at a medium high level.The total score of stigma was(65.48±12.12),which was at a high level.The total score of social support was(38.02±8.78),which was in the middle and low level.Multiple regression analysis showed that education level,monthly income,stigma and social support were the main influencing factors of patients'social distancing,accounting for 33.60%of the total variation(OR=-2.567,7.654,10.059,-11.384;P<0.001).Conclusion:The social alienation level of middle-aged and elderly patients living alone after aortic dissection is generally high.Medical staff should focus on identifying patients with low education level and poor monthly income,take personalized measures to reduce the stigma of patients,and provide adequate social resources and support for them,so as to minimize their social alienation and promote their faster and better integration into normal social life.
