Objective:To explore the effect of health education based on KAP theory on the quality of life of patients with lung cancer.Methods:Convenience sampling method was used to select 30 lung cancer patients admitted to the hospital from June 2014 to December 2019 as the control group,and the traditional health education model was adopted.The patients of the same gender and age were selected from January 2020 to June 2020.Patients with lung cancer who were treated monthly were selected as the research group,and a 1∶1 case-control study was conducted with the KAP-based health education model.The differences in health behavior and quality of life between the two groups were compared.Results:After 1 week of education,KAP scores of the two groups were higher than those before education,and KAP scores of the patients in the study group were higher than those in the control group.The differences were statistically significant(t=8.558,8.789,7.069;P<0.001).Scores of Q LICP-LU scale of search group were higher than control group 6 months after the end of education.The differences were statistically significant(t=5.795,P<0.001).Conclusion:Health education based on KAP can improve health behavior and quality of life of lung cancer patients.
