Meta-analysis of the Effects of Vibration Training on Pain and Dysfunction in Patients with Chronic Nonspecific Low Back Pain
Objective:To analyze the effect of vibration training on pain, dysfunction and quality of life in patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain. Methods:CNKI,Wanfang Data,CBM,VIP,PubMed,Cochrane library,Embase and Scopus database were searched for articles related to vibration therapy CNLBP.The time limit was from January 2013 to January 2023.Two researchers independently completed literature inclusion, information extraction, method quality evaluation, and then data processing were performed by Revman 5.4.Results:A total of 13 articles involving 765 subjects were included.Vibration training could improve patients'pain[SMD=1.04,95%CI(0.78,1.30),P<0.001],functional level[SMD=1.11,95%CI(0.73,1.49),P<0.001],quality of life[SMD=1.32,95%CI(0.54,2.10),P<0.05].Subgroup analysis showed that passive vibration was superior to active vibration in reducing pain[SMD=1.04,95%CI(0.78,1.30),P<0.05].Local vibration was superior to whole body vibration in improving functional level[SMD=1.20,95%CI(0.72,1.68),P<0.05].Conclusion:Vibration training can improve the pain, dysfunction and quality of life of CNLBP patients.
