Characteristics of Emotional Semantic Attention Bias and Memory Bias in Diabetes Patients with Depression
Objective:To observe the characteristics of attention and memory bias of semantic information and the relationship between them in diabetes patients with depression,so as to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of depression in diabetes patients.Methods:30 patients with diabetes complicated with depression and 30 patients with diabetes alone in the hospital from January 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the observation group and the control group, respectively. They participated in the semantic emotion Stroop test and memory recognition test.Operational data, such as reaction time and correct number, etc.,were collected.During the test, the reaction time, discrimination and response bias were calculated and obtained. The characteristics of attention and memory bias to semantic information of the two groups and the relationship between them were evaluated. Results:The response time of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.Repeated measurement ANOVA showed that there was statistical significant difference in the interaction of part of speech, part of speech and group in the response of the two groups(F=12.910,230.640,8.930;P<0.05).The definition of the obseration group was higher than the control group.Repeated measurement ANOVA showed that there was no statistically significant difference in group, part of speech, and interaction between two groups(F=20.760,15.170,13.690;P>0.05).The response bias of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.Repeated measurement ANOVA showed that there was no significant difference in group, part of speech, and interaction between groups in response bias between the two groups(F=103.990,23.760,51.310;P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with simple diabetes patients, diabetes patients with depression have attention bias to external semantic information, especially negative words. There is no memory bias to positive, neutral and negative words.Attention bias does not cause memory bias.
