Investigation and Analysis of Risk Factors for Surgical Site Infection in a Cancer Hospital from 2019 to 2022
Objective:To investigate the risk factors of surgical site infection in a cancer hospital in Heilongjiang Province,so as to provide some reference for reducing postoperative incision infection of tumor patients, and taking corresponding prevention and control measures. Methods:Through retrospective investigation, the data of surgical patients in the hospital from July 1,2020 to June 30,2022 were collected from the database of hospital infection. The diagnosis was made according to"Diagnostic Criteria for Hospital Infection".Univariate and multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze the related risk factors and describe the distribution of pathogenic bacteria. Results:Gender, hospitalization duration, operation duration, detected bacteria, use of the central vein, multi drug resistant bacterial infection, duration of foley catheterand duration, and use of central venous were the influencing factors of surgical site infection after surgery. Conclusion:There are many risk factors for surgical site infection. After surgery, relevant diagnosis and treatment measures should be formulated and adjusted according to the specific factors of patients,so as to reduce the incidence of postoperative surgical site infection, shorten hospital stay, and ensure patient health.
