Nursing Study on the Improvement of Self-efficacy and Disease Cognition Level of Cervical Cancer Surgery Patients by Full Health Education
Objective:To observe the effect of whole health education on improving self-efficacy and disease perception level of cervical cancer surgery patients.Methods:124 cases of cervical cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment in the hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into control group and observation group with computerized random number table method, with 62 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care, and the patients in the observation group were given health education throughout the process. The disease cognitive level before and after nursing care and the self-efficacy scores before nursing care,1 d,7 d and 14 d after nursing care were compared between the two groups.A short-term follow-up of 6 months was carried out for all patients and postoperative recovery of physical and psychological status and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results:Before care, the difference between the General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)scores of patients in the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After care, the morbidity mechanism, treatment status, perioperative precautions, and postoperative complications prevention and control dimension score of patients in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.262,3.943,3.523,3.926;P<0.05).After 1 d,7 d,and 14 d of care, the GSES scores of the patients in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.616,3.165,3.436;P<0.05).During the follow-up period, the patients in the observation group had a shorter time for the disappearance of each symptom,a shorter time for the recovery of tumor marker index(TM)than that of the control group, and lower scores on the Self-Assessment Scale for Anxiety(SAS)and the Self-Depression Scale for Depression(SDS)than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=6.324,3.478,3.390,3.327;P<0.05).The postoperative complication rate of patients in the observation group was 6.45%,which was lower than 16.13%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.678,P<0.05).Conclusion:Full health education can effectively improve the disease cognition level and self-efficacy of patients undergoing cervical cancer surgery, and has a positive effect on promoting the recovery of patients'postoperative physiological and psychological status and reducing the risk of complications.
