Correlation Analysis of Periodontal Health Status and Composite Resin Repair Effect in Patients with Anterior Teeth Cosmetic Repair
Objective:To explore the correlation between periodontal health status and composite resin repair effect in patients with anterior teeth cosmetic repair.Methods:A total of 102 patients in the hospital for cosmetic restoration of anterior teeth from January 2020 to Febuary 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the selected restoration method.Among them,the control group used 3M aesthetic resin for cosmetic restoration of anterior teeth(50 cases),and the observation group used Z350 nanocomposite resin for anterior teeth cosmetic restoration(52 cases).The incidence of sensitivity,pain,periodontal health indicators,restoration effect,aesthetic satisfaction and complications were observed and compared between the two groups.At the same time,the Spearman method was used to analyze the correlation between the periodontal health and restoration effect.Results:After 3 months of treatment,the incidence of pulp sensitivity in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with statistically significant difference(x2=4.258,P＜0.05).The VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those of the control group after 1 week,1 month and 3 months treatment(t=8.977,11.47,12.381;P＜0.05).3 months after treatment,PL1,GI and SB1 scores of the patients in the group were lower than those before treatment,but the observation group was lower than the control group(t=4.936,2.931,6.111;P＜0.05).The repair efficiency of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(x2=4.642,P＜0.05).The scores were all negatively correlated with the repair effect,among which the correlation coefficients rPLI=-0.491,rGI=-0.472,rSBI=-0.426 in the observation group,and rPLI=-0.444,rGI=-0.456,rSBI=-0.377 in the control group.After treatment,the number of teeth with intact shape,color retention and aesthetic satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(x2=4.258,4.642,5.126;P＜0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(x2=6.408,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Both composite resins have better restoration effects,but Z350 nano-composite resin has better cosmetic restoration effect than 3M aesthetic resin,and it is beneficial to maintain the patient's periodontal health,which can improve the cosmetic restoration rate.It has a better cosmetic restoration effect.
