Efficacy of Ultrasound-guided Endometrial Ablation in Abnormal Uterine Bleeding and the Influencing Factors
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of ultrasound-guided endometrial ablation in abnormal uterine bleeding and the related influencing factors.Methods:41 patients with abnormal uterine bleeding who underwent ultrasound-guided endometrial ablation in the hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected, and 2 cases were lost to follow-up.According to the last follow-up results,39 patients were divided into 3 groups:25 cured,10 effective and 4 ineffective cases.Clinical data were collected and compared.Under the guidance of ultrasound, the endometrium was ablated for 3~5 min by puncturing the uterine cavity and uterine lesions with a microwave needle, which caused coagulative necrosis of the endometrial tissue through the thermal effect, resulting in a significant reduction in vaginal bleeding or amenorrhea.41 cases were treated and 39 cases were followed up for more than 1.5 years. Results:The cure rate of uterine bleeding 1.5 years after surgery was 95.1%,the postoperative infection rate was 4.8%,and the postoperative puncture site subcutaneous hematoma rate was 2.4%.Conclusion:Ultrasound-guided endometrial ablation is easy to perform. It can protect normal tissues, provide quick recovery, relieve patient's symptom, and reduce patient's pain.It is easy to be accepted by patients.Patient body mass index, pregnancy frequency, and the size of the combined uterine mass are the independent influencing factors of the efficacy of endometrial ablation.
