Study on Sterilization Quality of Instruments with Double-layer Paper-plastic Bag Packaging
Objective:To investigate the sterilization effect and blocking bacteria effect of instruments with double-layer paper-plastic bag packaging after autoclaving, and the incidences of wet packs and sealing line cracking during sterilization.Methods:180 surgical instruments which needed to be packaged from December 1 to December 31,2018 were selected, and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 90 pieces in each group. The control group were packed with single-layer paper-plastic bag, while the observation group were packed with double-layer paper-plastic bag. After sterilization, the qualified rate of sterilization, the incidences of sealing line cracking and wet packs, damage free storage time and the breakage rate during use were compared between the two groups.Satisfaction of doctors in relevant departments with packaging function of the device was investigated. The data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software. Results:The qualified rate of sterilization in observation group and control group was 100.00%.The total damage rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(x2=4.731,P<0.05).The breakage rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(x2=2.406,P>0.05).The satisfaction degree of doctors in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.835,P<0.05).Conclusion:Double-layer paper-plastic bag packaging can achieve better sterilization effect, with lower incidences of wet packs and sealing line cracking during sterilization.Compared with single-layer paper-plastic bag packing, its damage free storage time is longer, the repeated sterilization rate is lower, doctor are more satisfied, and the application effect is better.
