Effect of Negative Emotion Regulation Involving Nurses and Family Members on Psychological Stress of Pregnant Women with Threatened Abortion
Objective:To investigate the effect of negative emotion regulation involving nurses and family members on psychological stress of pregnant women with threatened abortion.Methods:The clinical data of 78 pregnant women diagnosed with threatened abortion in the hospital from March 2021 and April 2022 were analyzed retrospectively.Among them,38 women receiving conventional fetal protection from March to October 2021 were regarded as the control group,and 40 women receiving conventional fetal protection and negative emotion regulation involving nurses and family members from November 2021 to April 2022 were defined as the observation group.Both groups were given intervention till the end of pregnancy.The status of psychological stress,psychological states,self-efficacy,success rate of fetal protection and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:After intervention,the Life Event Scale for Pregnant Women(LESPW)scores and the Multidimensional Psychological and Social Stress Questionnaire(MPPQ)scores of the two groups decreased,and the observation group had significantly lower scores than the control group(t=3.687,3.792;P<0.05).The avoidance scores in the Revised Prenatal Coping Inventory(NuPCI)of the two groups decreased,and the observation group had significantly lower score than the control group.The scores of plan preparation-psychology,plan preparation-knowledge,and spirituality-positivity increased,and the observation group had significantly higher scores than the control group(t=2.167,2.887,2.769,2.392;P<0.05).The Anxiety Scale(PAS)scores of the two groups decreased(t=3.550,P<0.05),and the observation group had significantly lower scores than the control group(t=2.439,P<0.05).The self-efficacy score,success rate of fetal protection,and inpatient nursing satisfaction score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(x2=4.680,3.230;P<0.05).Conclusion:Negative emotion regulation involving nurses and family members can effectively improve psychological stress and coping styles of pregnant women with threatened abortion,alleviate their negative emotions,increase their self-efficacy,and increase the success rate of fetal protection and nursing satisfaction.
