Psychological Intervention and Impact of Delusion of Theft in Elderly Dementia Patients
Objective:To study the function and influence effect of psychological intervention on senile dementia patients with symptoms of theft.Methods:100 patients with dementia admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were divided into observation group and control group with random number method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group adopted traditional drug treatment[Tianzhi Granules and Donepezil hydrochloride tablets(Donepezil)].The observation group added psychological intervention on the basis of this.Changes in the degree of theft delusion,emotional status of anxiety disorders,and changes in cognitive function were observed in the two groups.Results:After treatment,the scores of NAS of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.537,7.488;P<0.05).SAS of two groups were lower than before treatment,and observation group was lower than control group,with statistically significant difference(t=8.307,P<0.05).The MMSE score and MoCA score of the experimental group with simultaneous psychological intervention were significantly higher than those in the observation group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=7.029,4.858;P<0.05).Conclusion:Psychological intervention is a more effective treatment method to help patients relieve stolen delusion and anxiety,improve cognitive function,and improve the quality of life of patients.
