Correlation Between Arterial Blood Gas and Venous Blood Electrolyte
Objective:To analyze the correlation between arterial blood gas and venous blood electrolyte.Methods:69 patients who were treated in the Third People's Hospital of Hechi City from January 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and their arterial blood and central venous blood were sampled respectively. The arterial blood and central venous blood samples were analyzed by blood gas analyzer. The concentrations of K+,Na+,CL-and Ca2+in arterial blood and central venous blood were measured, and the correlation between them was analyzed. Results:The concentration of K+in central venous blood(4.63±0.75)mmol/L,CL-concentration(100.64±4.12)mmol/L,and Ca2+concentration(2.19±0.19)mmol/L were significantly higher than those in arterial blood K+concentrations(3.82±0.69)mmol/L,(97.15±3.07)mmol/L and(1.07±0.15)mmol/L,with statistically significant difference(t=8.928,9.827,8.593;P<0.05).Linear regression analysis showed that the concentration of K+,CL-and Ca2+in central venous blood had a linear regression relationship with the concentrations of each ion in arterial blood, and there was a positive correlation. The concentration of Na+in central venous blood(137.14±4.86)mmol/L was slightly higher than that in arterial blood Na+concentration(136.09±4.82)mmol/L,and there was no significant comparison between the two groups(t=2.174,P>0.05).Linear regression analysis showed that there was no linear regression relationship between Na+concentration in central venous blood and Na+concentration in arterial blood. Conclusion:The results of K+concentration,CL-concentration and Ca2+concentration in arterial blood gas analysis are positively correlated with the concentrations of various ions in venous blood, while the concentration of Na+is not significantly correlated, indicating that the sodium ion in arterial blood gas analysis is similar to that in venous blood. So when determining the content of sodium ion, both arterial blood gas analysis and central venous blood samples can be selected for detection.
