Diagnostic Value of 99mTc-MDP Bone Imaging Combined with Serum ALP and VEGF in Bone Metastasis of Breast Cancer
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of 99mTc MDP bone imaging combined with serum Alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in the assessment of bone metastasis of breast cancer.Methods:The clinical data of 82 breast cancer patients admitted to the hospital from May 2020 to February 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.Among them,there were 41 patients with bone metastasis(observation group)and 41 patients without bone metastasis(control group).The serum ALP and VEGF levels between the two groups of patients were compared.The results of 99mTc MDP bone imaging in 82 patients with breast cancer were analyzed.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the correlation between bone metastasis,and serum ALP and VEGF in patients with breast cancer.ROC was used to analyze the value of serum ALP and VEGF alone and 99mTc-MDP bone imaging in detecting bone metastasis of breast cancer.Results:Serum ALP and VEGF levels in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.471,28.253;P<0.05).Through using pathological examination as the gold standard,the sensitivity of 99mTc-MDP bone imaging was 80.49%,specificity was 63.41%and accuracy was 71.95%in the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma bone metastasis.Logistic regression analysis showed that serum ALP and VEGF were correlated with bone metastasis in breast cancer patients(OR=6.759,1.483;P<0.05).The area under ROC curve(AUC)of serum ALP and VEGF alone and combined 99mTc-MDP bone imaging were 0.668,0.701 and 0.843,respectively.AUC of combined detection was superior to that of serum ALP and VEGF alone,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum ALP and VEGF are closely related to bone metastasis in breast cancer patients.The detection of 99mTc MDP,serum ALP and serum VEGF has good value in bone metastasis of breast cancer,and the combined detection can effectively improve the diagnostic efficiency.
