Analysis of Human Papillomavirus Infection in 13 033 Female in Zhuhai
Objective:To understand the situation of female HPV infection in Zhuhai, and provide laboratory data for the promotion of the HPV vaccine as well as for the protection and management of cervical cancer. Methods:HPV typing test was performed using the HPV-hybrid capture method to analyze the results of 13 033 female in the hospital from 2019 to 2022.Results:There were 1 718 positive cases, with a detection rate of 13.18%,of which the top 5 high-risk types detected were HPV52,HPV58,HPV16,HPV51 and HPV68 in order. The age distribution of HPV infection was"U"shaped, comparing adjacent age groups, the detection rate of HPV infection was significantly lower in the age group of 31~40 years than in the age group of≤30 years, and significantly higher in the age group of 51~60 year-old than in the age group of 41~50 year-old,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).HPV infection was predominantly monotypic, with dual and multiple infections prevalent. There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the age groups of dual infection, but the highest multiple infection was found in the age groups of 51~60 year-old and<30 year-old.There was statistically significant difference(P<0.05),compared with other groups.Analysis of HPV infection by year showed that there was no significant difference in HPV detection rate, proportion of high-risk types, and type of infection by year, and the trend of multiple infection was decreasing. Conclusion:The rate of HPV infection in female in Zhuhai is relatively stable, and the infection is mainly monotypic. The detection rate and multiple infection rate are higher in<30 and>50 year-old.So it is necessary to pay attention to the popularization of the vaccine and the publicity, education and screening of female in the higher age group.
