Investigation and Analysis of Nursing Needs of Burn Inpatients and Research on Related Influencing Factors
Objective:To investigate and analyze the nursing needs of burn inpatients, and explore the relevant factors that affect their nursing needs,so as to provide timely nursing care for clinical needs. Methods:The clinical data of 156 burn inpatients admitted to the hospital from November 2020 to November 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The nursing needs of burn inpatients were analyzed with the inpatient nursing needs questionnaire. The clinical data of 156 burn inpatients were collected and sorted out, including gender, cause of burn, treatment method, family per capita monthly income,self-assessment of health status and burn severity, etc. The related factors affecting the nursing needs of burn inpatients were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression analysis model. Results:From high to low,the nursing needs of 156 hospitalized burn patients were physiological needs, safety needs,self-esteem needs,self-actualization needs, love and belonging needs.Univariate analysis showed that age, family per capita monthly income,self-care status,self-rated health status and burn severity were related to the nursing needs of hospitalized burn patients, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that age≥60 years old,per capita family income≥5 000 yuan, inability to take care of themselves, poor health status, and severe/extremely severe burn severity were the main factors affecting the nursing needs of hospitalized burn patients(OR=3.964,5.749,4.241,4.631,7.462;P<0.05).Conclusion:The nursing needs of burn inpatients are high, and the factors that affect their nursing needs are age≥60 years old, family per capita monthly income≥5 000 yuan, inability to take care of themselves, poor health status self-evaluation,and burn severity. It is necessary to fully consider the actual nursing needs of the patients, and provide care as needed to enhance the quality of nursing.
