Clinical Study on Hyperthyroidism Combined with Thyroid Cancer
Objective:To explore the clinical and pathological characteristics of hyperthyroidism combined with papillary thyroid cancer. Methods:Retrospective collection of clinical and pathological data of 348 patients with thyroid papillary carcinoma who underwent thyroidectomy in the hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 and were confirmed by intraoperative freezing. They were divided into groups A and group B based on the presence or absence of hyperthyroidism.Case data was collected and analyzed to statistically analyze the clinical and pathological characteristics of the two groups. Results:There was statistically significant difference in thyroid cancer patients with≥1 cm hyperthyroidism between two groups(χ2=5.538,P<0.05).The incidence of parathyroid and recurrent laryngeal nerve injury in group B was higher than that in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.891,4.172;P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with hyperthyroidism combined with thyroid cancer usually lead to significant tumor enlargement, with significant increase in the incidence of local advanced stage,an increase in postoperative complications, and an impact on the patient's prognosis, which requires close attention.
