Analysis of Related Factors Affecting Discharge Readiness in Patients with Manic Episode of Bipolar Affective Disorder and Discussion on Improvement Strategies of Discharge Guidance Nursing Pathway
Objective:To analyze the related factors affecting discharge readiness in inpatients with manic episode of bipolar affective disorder, and to explore the improvement strategies of discharge guidance nursing pathway. Methods:The discharge readiness of 86 inpatients with manic episode of bipolar affective disorder admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 was retrospectively analyzed.Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale(RHDS)and Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale(QDTS)were used to evaluate the discharge guidance quality of patients.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors. Results:The total score of RHDS in 86 patients was(164.82±12.18).Among analysis results, the disease duration,work/study status, education level, family composition, social support, hope level, disease uncertainty and quality of discharge guidance were the single factors that affected discharge readiness of patients(P<0.05).The disease course and disease uncertainty were independent risk factors of increasing discharge readiness, and the social support, hope level and discharge guidance quality were independent protective factors of increasing discharge readiness(P<0.05).Conclusion:Disease duration, hope level, social support, uncertainty of disease and quality of discharge guidance are related factors affecting discharge readiness in patients with manic episode of bipolar affective disorder. It is necessary to actively give detailed nursing guidance and enhance the guidance skills for patients with long disease duration, lack of social support and self-regulation ability so as to improve the discharge readiness of patients.
