Predictive Efficacy of NT-ProBNP Level Expression in Heart Failure with Ejection Fraction Retention on Atrial Fibrillation
Objective:To analyze the predictive efficacy of NT-ProBNP expression levels in HFpEF patients for AF.Methods:Retrospective study on 125 HFpEF patients in the shopital from January 2021 to January 2023 was conducted.60 HFpEF patients with concomitant AF were included in the merge group, and 65 HFpEF patients without concomitant AF were included in the non merge group. The general and clinical data of the two groups of patients were compared, and the risk factors that can lead to AF in HFpEF patients were summarized with statistical univariate analysis and logistic multiple regression analysis. The predictive effectiveness of various risk factors on AF by plotting ROCs was verified. Results:Statistical univariate analysis showed that there were some differences between the two groups in age, heart rate,TG,LDL-C,LAD,LVEF,NT-ProBNP levels, and the use of Calcium channel blockers(P<0.05).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that age≥70 years old, heart rate≥75 beats/min,LAD≥35mm,and NT-ProBNP≥125pg/ml were risk factors for AF in HFpEF patients. The risk of HFpEF patients complicated with AF would gradually increase with age,the average heart rate,LAD and NT-ProBNP level. The sensitivity and specificity of NT-ProBNP expression in predicting AF were higher than those of age, average heart rate and LAD,etc.,with a cutoff value of 420pg/ml.Conclusion:Aging,high average heart rate, increased LAD,and elevated NR-ProBNP levels can all lead to AF in HFpEF patients.NT-ProBNP has a high predictive power for AF.
