Study on HPV Infection Characteristics and High-risk HPV Negative Screening Characteristics in 120 Patients with High-grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesions of the Cervix
Objective:To analyze the characteristics of HPV infection and screening characteristics of high-risk HPV negative cases in patients with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix.Methods:120 patients with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix were selected from the hospital from January 2020 to October 2022.All patients underwent high-risk HPV and liquid based thin layer cytology examinations, and the detection results of the two methods were compared and analyzed.Results:120 patients with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix were tested positive for HPV,with 110 positive cases, and the positive rate was 91.67% .Single infection was more common, and multiple infections were less common.Among high-risk HPV negative patients, there were 7 cases(70.0% )with liquid based thin layer cytology examination higher than atypical squamous cells.1 case with atypical squamous cells in cervical liquid based cytology and 2 cases with lower cervical liquid based cytology than atypical squamous cells were referred to colposcopy due to clinical symptoms. Conclusion:In patients with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix,HPV infection is mainly caused by high-risk HPV infection and single type infection. The combined screening of high-risk HPV and cervical liquid-based cytology has the highest positive rate.Patients with high-risk HPV negative cervical high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions do not often have significant clinical symptoms or cervical liquid-based cytological abnormalities.
