Analysis of the Value of Combined Detection of Peripheral Blood T-lymphocyte Subpopulation Indicators CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,and CD4+/CD8+in Early Clinical Identification of Neurosyphilis
Objective:To analyze the early recognition value of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subpopulation indicators CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,and CD4+/CD8+in neurosyphilis.Methods:98 syphilis patients admitted to the hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected, and all patients were divided into neurosyphilis group(n=41)and non neurosyphilis group(n=57)based on their presence of neurological involvement. In addition,87 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations in the hospital during the same period were included in the health group.Three groups of venous blood were collected and compared for differences in CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,and CD4+/CD8+.Additionally,receiver operating curve(ROC)was drawn to analyze the efficacy of joint testing of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,and CD4+/CD8+in early recognition of neurosyphilis patients.Results:CD3+in neurosyphilis group was lower than that in non-neurosyphilis group and healthy group,CD8+was higher than that in non-neurosyphilis group and healthy group,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in non-neurosyphilis group was lower than that in healthy group, and CD8+was higher than that in healthy group. The difference was statistically significant(F=216.471,241.513,151.950,186.240;P<0.05).Results of ROC showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of the combined detection of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+was 0.903,which was higher than that of 0.866,0.845,0.870,0.715.Conclusion:CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,and CD4+/CD8+are abnormally expressed in patients with neurosyphilis. The combination of the four can identify neurosyphilis in the early stage and provide certain reference information for clinical practice. It has certain application value.
