Evaluation of the Efficacy of Pax Root Canal Filling Combined with Semiconductor Laser in the Treatment of Periodontal Pulp Disease
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Pax root canal filling combined with semiconductor laser in the treatment of periodontal pulp disease.Methods:A total of 108 patients with periodontal pulp disease admitted to the hospital from December 2020 to September 2021 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 54 cases in each group.The control group was treated with bitapexes root canal filling,and the observation group was treated with semiconductor laser.The clinical efficacy,periodontal health indexes before and after treatment,masticatory efficacy,gingival crevicle fluid bone metabolism indexes,proterminal peptide(PⅠNP)],gingival crevicle fluid hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),calcium-binding protein S100A12(S100A12)and sonic hedgehog(Shh)protein were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(χ2=4.364,P<0.05).GI,PD,mBI and CAL in observation group were lower than those in control group one month after treatment(t=5.024,15.985,5.658,7.532;P<0.05).One month after treatment,the masticatory efficiency and biting force of observation group were higher than those of control group(t=5.800,9.146;P<0.05).One month after treatment,the levels of BGP,ALP,OPG and PⅠ NP in gingival crevicular fluid of observation group were higher than those of control group(t=5.669,7.278,3.607,7.812;P<0.05).One month after treatment,the protein levels of hs-CRP,IL-1β,S100A12 and Shh in gingival crevicular fluid of observation group were lower than those of control group(t=6.463,14.593,5.902,7.994;P<0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of Bitapexus root canal filling treatment for periodontal pulp disease,semiconductor laser treatment is effective.It can effectively improve periodontal health and masticatory efficiency,regulate gingival crevicular fluid bone metabolism index,and promote disease recovery.
