Expression and Clinical Significance of Sex Hormone Indicators in IVF-ET Patients with PCOS Infertility/
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of sex hormone indicators in infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)who received in vitro fertilization and embryotransfer(IVF-ET).Methods:87 PCOS infertile patients who received IVF-ET from hospitals from January 2021 to January 2023 were as the study subjects. They were recorded as the observation group, and 87 healthy women who underwent health examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.Patients in the observation group were divided into a successful pregnancy group and a failed pregnancy group based on pregnancy outcomes. The levels of six sex hormone indicators[follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),prolactin(PRL),progestogen(P),estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH)and testosterone(T)]of the subjects were detected by microparticle chemiluminescence immunoassay. The clinical baseline data of the patients were collected, and the relationship between sex stimulating hormone indicators and pregnancy outcomes of PCOS infertility patients receiving IVF-ET was analyzed. Results:The levels of PRL,P,E2,LH,and T in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(t=3.138,6.261,5.723,20.071,20.363,13.584;P<0.05).After receiving IVF-ET,46 out of 87 infertile patients with PCOS had successful pregnancies and 41 failed, with a success rate of 52.87%.The results of logistic regression analysis showed that BMI,PRL,E2,LH and T were the influencing factors for pregnancy success in PCOS infertile patients receiving IVF-ET(OR=2.232,1.083,1.020,1.310,12.759;P<0.05).The receiver operating curve(ROC)was drawn, and the results showed that the area under the PRL,E2,LH and T predictive curves(AUC=0.729,0.710,0.744,0.734)had certain predictive value, and the joint predictive value was higher(AUC=0.865).Conclusion:Six sex hormone indicators are abnormally expressed in PCOS infertility patients, among which PRL,E2,LH and T are influencing factors for pregnancy success in PCOS infertility patients receiving IVF-ET,which can effectively predict pregnancy outcome.
