Analysis of the Value of Microcolumn Gel Method in the Detection of Hemolytic Disease of Newborn
Objective:To analyze the clinical value of microcolumn gel method in detection of hemolytic disease of newborn.Methods:142 cases of suspected hemolytic disease of newborn in the hospital were tested by tube method and micro-column gel method. Results:The blood types of 142 cases were Type A(45 cases),type B(46 cases)and type O(51 cases),and 31 cases were diagnosed.Among them,21 cases were type A(21 cases),10 cases were type B(10 cases)and 0 case were type O(0 case). In direct anti-human immunoglobulin test, free antibody test and antibody release test, the positive rate of blood group A was the highest, which was higher than that of blood group B(x2=4.785,5.683,4.874,5.463;P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the other groups(P>0.05).Among the diagnosed cases,5 cases were positive for hemolytic test,1 case was positive for direct anti-human immunoglobulin test and free antibody test, the results of direct anti-human immunoglobulin test and antibody release test were both positive in 3 neonates. The results of free antibody test and antibody release test were both positive in 4 neonates. The results of antibody release test in 18 neonates were positive. The detection rate of blood group antigen by microcolumn gel method was 100%,which was higher than that by tube method 98.59%(x2=4.783,P<0.05).The positive rates of the three hemolytic tests were 7.04%,7.75%and 38.73%respectively,which were higher than 4.93%,4.23%and 14.79%of the test tube method(x2=5.683,11.783,4.781;P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical value of microcolumn gel method in the detection of hemolytic disease of newborn is significant due to its simple operation, great specificity, high sensitivity and accuracy.
