Research Progress on the Treatment of Prostate Diseases with Saw Leaf Palm Fruit Extract
Sabah palm,also known as Sabah palm,is a wild plant mainly grown in Florida and the southeastern regions of the United States.In 1908,saw palm was included in the pharmacopoeia of the United States.It began to be widely used in Europe in 1950 and was successively included in the British Pharmacopoeia and European Pharmacopoeia.Due to its excellent anti androgenic effect and good safety for the liver and kidneys,it has a good therapeutic effect on prostate hyperplasia and urinary system diseases,and has gradually been applied in clinical practice.Based on more than 10 years of literature review,the study points out the main progress in research on the treatment of prostate diseases with extracts from sawblade palm fruits.
