Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Ureteroscopy Combined with Negative Pressure Flexible Suction Sheath in the Treatment of 2~3 cm Renal Stones
Objective:To explore the effect of ureteroscopy combined with negative pressure bendable suction sheath in the treatment of 2~3 cm kidney stones. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 240 patients with 2~3 cm kidney stones from January 2021 to December 2022.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into three groups:ureteroscopic group(RIRS group),ureteroscopic group with flexible negative pressure suction sheath(combination group),and percutaneous nephroscopy group(PCNL group). The surgical time, average postoperative hospital stay, stone clearance rate, postoperative hematuria time and infection incidence, and average postoperative hemoglobin decrease among these three groups were compared. Results:The average operation time of the combined group was longer than that of the other 2 groups, but the average hospital stay was shorter(F=22.78,47.35;P<0.05).The intraoperative blood loss and postoperative mean hemoglobin decline were not significantly different from those of the RIRS group, but was significantly less than those of the PCNL group. The incidence of postoperative complications in the combined group was also lower than that in the other two groups(x2=13.019,P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of ureteroscopy and negative pressure bendable suction sheath is more effective in treating 2~3 cm renal stones than ureteroscopy surgery, with fewer complications than percutaneous nephroscopy surgery. It has the advantages of high stone clearance rate and low incidence of postoperative complications.
