Application of Ear Point Pressing Bean Combined with Lactulose in Promoting Gastrointestinal Function Recovery After Cesarean Section
Objective:To investigate the effect of the combined application of auricular acupressure(ear acupressure)and lactulose on gastrointestinal function recovery after cesarean section.Methods:The study involved 80 patients who underwent cesarean sections in Xingguo County People's Hospital in Ganzhou City,Jiangxi Province from January 2022 to September 2023.The patients were randomly divided into control group(40 cases)and observation group(40 cases)with random number table method.The control group received standard nursing care,while the observation group received additional treatment with auricular acupressure combined with lactulose.The recovery of gastrointestinal function and comfort level scores were compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group showed a shorter duration of abdominal distension,quicker recovery of bowel sounds,earlier first flatus,earlier first time out of bed,and earlier time to start eating compared to the control group(t=10.842,7.399,9.050,19.205,17.511;P＜0.05).The scores for physical,psychological,social,and environmental comfort were higher in the observation group than in the control group(t=8.666,9.805,11.537,7.288;P＜0.05).Conclusion:The application of auricular acupressure combined with lactulose after cesarean section can effectively accelerate gastrointestinal function recovery,reduce abdominal distension,and enhance patient comfort.
