Clinical Analysis of Recurrence of the Great Saphenous Varicose Vein After Endo venous Ablation Treatment
Objective:To investigate the possible causes of recurrence reflux for the great saphenous varicose veins after endovenous thermal ablation,so as to provide reference for reduction of recurrence rate.Methods:The clinical data of 183 patients with varicose great saphenous vein who underwent endovascular thermal ablation in sample hospitals from January 2018 to October 2020 were retrospectively analyzed,and the causes and types of varicose recurrence were analyzed.Results:183 patients underwent clinical and ultrasound evaluation and were followed up for a mean of(26.0±3.4)months.According to the results of ultrasonic exploration,the causes of recurrence can be divided into vascular recanalization,revascularization,disease progression,surgical strategy and technical error.Conclusion:Vascular recanalization and disease progression are important causes of recurrence after endovascular thermal ablation for varicose great saphenous vein.Perfect preoperative ultrasonography,correct surgical strategy and standard intraoperative operation can reduce recurrence of varicose.
